  • Confidence

I was getting dressed today and my darling boyfriend looks at me and says "babe you have a certain pep in your step and it's been there for months...I like". I thought about it and you are to blame for that pep in my step. Going to the Catwalk has toned me up, given me self confidence about my post-baby body and my ass looks amazing! Thank you Marion, you are truly amazing.
    I Love You girl!!!!

  • Zumba is My Salvation

October 2007, I was diagnosed with Type-2 diabetes. I knew my mouth would get me in trouble. My diabetes was of my own making, Eating anything and everything, and never exercising. To start the new year off right in January 2008, I decided to change my health lifestyle. I found an epiphany... Zumba®. My life has changed since finding this wonderful source. Because of Zumba® I have accomplished one of my goals of losing 40lbs and having my medication lowered. Since finding Zumba® I was able to found a wonderful place to Zumba several times a week. 'Art of the Catwalk'. Zumba and Art of the Catwalk has helped me to do what I love...dance. It has also helped me to open up and make many friends. People who care about how I'm feeling. Here at Art of the Catwalk, I have been given a great Zumba® instructor (Doreen Hughes), who let's me be creative in doing the steps of the routines she shows us.

Art of the Catwalk is the perfect "social network for me", here I'm with women who have the same goals as I do. We talk, laugh, cry, oh yeah and we happen to get some exercise in too. I love the fact that doing Zumba at Art of the Catwalk, we are able to do 'Demo's' at several local charity functions to showcase our dance moves and to show how much fun it is to be a member at Art of the Catwalk. Because of such encouragement from my instructor and the owner of the Catwalk (Marion),I have recently taught a Zumba class.. I now have the confidence to take on the Basic Zumba® instructor certification class this month. With all the things I have accomplished and will accomplish with Zumba® and Art of the Catwalk, I'm finally on my way to 'A Journey to Me'.

  • Homesick for Catwalk

    Hi Marion,
Unfortunately I no longer reside in the Tallahassee area. :( I left Tallahassee in August 2009 and Art of the Catwalk is seriously the number one thing that I miss! I tell everyone about the studio and my wonderful experiences. I now live in Tampa, FL and have had no luck finding a studio of the same caliber. Sooo... have you considered opening a studio here in Tampa, FL? I truly believe that this is an ideal location for another AOTC.

Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!

    - Oluseyi :)

  • Please open Catwalk in Gainesville

I've moved back to Gainesville, where I am getting out of shape rather quickly because of a lack of fun ways to exercise.. Please open up an Art of the Catwalk here in Gainesville! We need you!

  • RESTORE REVITALIZE RENEW

I just wanted to tell you how much I APPRECIATE your workouts! You are always prepared with a new workout each day which always focuses on a different body area but incorporates a total body workout and includes cardio. You push us to do our personal best and inspire us to want to improve, while allowing everyone in the class, all at very different fitness levels, to workout together. I've never enjoyed going to a gym and working out on machines. I love having a new and different workout each day, using my body to strengthen my body, I have been working out now for almost 3 months and have seen a noticeable change in my strength, muscle tone and cardio fitness.

Thanks for all the effort you put in to my physical health!

  • LOST 3 POUNDS FIRST WEEK

Well, after just one full week of classes I have lost another 3 pounds! I haven't really changed anything else in my routine or my eating, so I have to credit the hard (& FUN) workouts I've been enjoying (yes, enjoying!) at AOTC. Thank you both for all of your constant encouragement, support and friendly attitudes. I feel like I have new friends! :-) And Marion, thank you so very much for providing this unique and amazing opportunity in Tallahassee. A great & wonderful change has been started in me - the first day I walked in the door! I'm so excited to be on this journey!

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

    -Amy

  • I Miss the Catwalk

I was a member at the Catwalk for a year, and I loved it! If I hadn't moved away, I'd still be there! Marion (owner) is super sweet, and really wants every person that walks through the door to feel their absolute best. The staff is incredible & it's cheaper than many gyms out there.

  • Art of the Catwalk sizzles

Ladies get your groove on! Art of the Catwalk sizzles. A great time to shed your inhibitions as well as a few pounds. Beyond the pole classes which are calibrated for different levels of proficiency, AOTC offers terrific classes in Zumba, Pilates, aerobics, yoga...the list goes on. Pilates instructor is exceptional -- an unexpected find. Pole instructors Laura Watson and Trina Condo are wonderful (both mothers) with bodies that are truly inspirational. I haven't had a chance to take classes with all the instructors, but all so far have been enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and accommodating to all ages, shapes and sizes.

  • Jillian is the Bomb

I only wished I lived in Tallahasse, but I enjoyed every minute of class. I didn't like the sexy burn the next few days, but I made me feel like I got a real fun work out! Thanks for the awesome experice and the instructor Jillan was phenominal!

    I will be back!

  • Hi Marion its Jennifer

Hi Marion its Jennifer, My daughter and I started classes there this summer, and sooo happy with your classes. My daughter was taking 2-3 classes a day and lost 20 pounds. Shes skinny minny now. I am getting her hand me downs! This semester I am taking Ass and Abs and my first class was last Mon. My daughter took it also. Great class and fits in with my time schedule. And of course I dont miss Doreens Zumba class MWFS. I think she's the best thing you have going. But its getting hard to find a place on the floor since its so popular. But we make do.

Hope this info was helpful. Jennifer

  • Zumba Fun At Art of the Catwalk

    Hi Marion,

In September, I will have been at the Catwalk for two years. I want you to know Doreen is the absolute best instructor I've ever had. I adore her, and I love the Zumba classes. I know a lot of your population is college students, but you also have working women- women where it is convenient to come in
Since I've begun the ZUMBA classes I've lost even more weight! I just bought my FIRST EVER dress in a misses size!!!!! Yes, even though its fun, it's still HARD WORK to lose that weight.

Please keep the class for us professionals that need a gym that caters to them too! The only workout I've ever stuck with is Zumba.

    Thanks for your time!
    Apryl

  • Love From Nancy

    Hi Marion,

It was good to meet you and I love the Catwalk. I love Pilates, I never loved working out before as much as I do doing Pilates. I also love the kickboxing but my knees can't take the pounding so my Dr. said lay off any exercise that is tough on the knee joint. I see the new yoga class you have so I will be doing that plus I will try some dance classes.

I am so happy you started the club. All your employees and instructors have been so encouraging and helpful.

I am feeling so much better since I have been coming to the Catwalk and keep up the good work.

    Sincerely,
    Nancy

  • Thanks Marion

    Hey Marion,

I cannot thank you enough for Art of the Catwalk! I've been intimidated by gyms my entire life, and I can't believe I've lost 15 pounds since I've joined!!!! I've been a type 1 diabetic for 18 years, and this is the first gym that lets me decide what's right for my body while working out. No one tries to baby me for my illness, and your trainers have pushed me in a positive way, and they trust that i know my body.

I hate to say this, but I was extremely intimidated by the Catwalk, and if it wasn't for my friend Dani, I wouldn't have joined. I was looking at the website back in January, and I didn't feel like I belonged, even though I wanted to take dance classes. But I have had AOTCW on my mind since then, and am sooooo happy I finally joined!

    Thank you!
